Morindoo Camp is located about 1 hour and 30 minutes southeast of Ulaanbaatar by car. The vast prairie fills your 360-degree view, with visibility extending over 35 kilometers.
Morindoo Camp means “Let’s ride horses” in Mongolian.
It is the call Mongolian nomads use when riding horses, and legend has it that Chinggis Khaan himself used this phrase. As the name suggests, horseback riding is the greatest attraction of this camp.
The prairies surrounding the camp are gently rolling and very kind to horses’ legs. With mountains stretching in the distance and flocks of sheep and goats dotting the landscape, this is truly an untouched natural prairie where you can enjoy horseback riding to your heart’s content.
